The project I am going to share with you today is one for my favorites and I use it every day!
This is my craft Susan! I love her so! :) She is cheap, easy and very handy to have around. ha ha ha ok enough with my bad jokes and on to the project.
This is how it started out
The issue, tons and tons of colored pencils, and 3 different sizes of sharpies.
My paint I have owned these for a while now. I found them in the paint department at Walmart on clearance for $1.50 each. I love purple and couldn't pass them up.
I painted the whole can (just so they wont rust or smell funky in my craft room)
Now the fun part. I cut scrapbook paper to fit and used the hot glue gun to tack it on the cans.
I love how the 2 different patterns turned out together.
While in the middle of this project on a trip to the Salvation Army I found this.
Welcome Susan to the project, Susan was $1.69 and not very prettyAnd needed some work. I started with painting her (the same Kilz spray paint from the cans) and then added some felt feet (I used felt since my table is glass and dont want any marks on it)
After Susan joined the fun, I had to add more cans which was great because I was able to add more stuff, like scissors and rulers to the tray.
I love my craft Susan and just in case you were wondering, NO she is not lazy at all!! :)
Hope you all have a crafty day!
