Jeanne asked me if I would put up my recipe for the Italian Veggie Kabobs. This was my dish to pass on Italian theme dinner girls night at her house last month.
These kabobs make a great presentation and taste wonderful. I use differant veggies depending on the dinner and what is in season. (I always like to buy produce in season, its fresher and at its best price.) For this meal my Ingrediance was;
Deli Salami cut in 3/4 inch chunks
Mozzarella Cheese cut in 3/4 inch chunks
Zucchini cut in 3/4 inch chunks
Whole Mini White Mushrooms with stems removed
Yellow Peppers cut in 3/4 inch squares
Orange Peppers cut in 3/4 inch squares
Jumbo Pitted Black Olives
Small Wooden Kabob Skewers
Italian Dressing (my favorite Wish Bone Robusto Italian)
After cutting up all your ingrediance in just slide them right on the skewers, lay them down in a bowl and pore dressing over top till there well coated.
This does take a little longer then what you would think so be sure to leave your self extra time.
These are always a big hit and I take home a empty dish every time, I hope you enjoy them.
